Verizon Expands XLTE to 14 New Locations

Verizon continues to roll out XLTE to markets across the country, bringing super fast data speeds to those lucky enough to be on Big Red’s list. XLTE is a huge improvement on Verizon’s already excellent LTE network, bringing more reliability and faster download and upload speeds as network usage increases. If Verizon has its way, we’ll all get to reap the benefits of XLTE, but don’t expect that to happen overnight.

Oh, I almost forgot – you’re going to need an XLTE capable phone to enjoy those faster speeds. So far, the Samsung Galaxy S4, S5, Note 3, iPhone 5S and 5C are ready for XLTE.

New XLTE markets follow below:

  • Midland, TX
  • Odessa, TX
  • Great Falls, MT
  • Sheboygan, WI
  • Rome, GA
  • Albany, GA
  • Valdosta, GA
  • Gainesville, GA
  • Mason City, IA
  • Gadsden, AL
  • Hickory-Lenoir, NC
  • Jackson, MI
  • Pendleton, OR
  • Winona, MN

Are you noticing faster data speeds today? If you are, I’m jealous.
