HTC Teases New Device for October 8th Event, Could Be HTC Desire Eye

HTC is all set for its October 8th event where the company is expected to release at least one new device. HTC tweeted out a little teaser for us today, giving us more evidence that the Desire Eye is in fact on its way.

When we first heard about the Eye it seemed like the device would be a conical camera of sorts, aimed at taking on GoPro. But new leaks suggest that the Desire Eye will in fact be a smartphone that touts two 13MP cameras, one on the front and one on the back. The Desire Eye is rumored to include a 5.2-inch full HD screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 801, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

Don’t adjust your screen. Just focus on the date. #HTCLive http://t.co/vQJrWCrjKG
