Here’s what happens when two luxury brands team-up – you get a smartphone only a select few could buy.

Vertu and Bentley announced their partnership a few months ago, and today we get to see the first product of this co-operation.

The luxurious Vertu for Bentley handset will, obviously, be a limited edition device with only 2,000 pieces hitting the company’s boutiques with a starting price tag of whopping €12,500.

Specs wise, this is pretty much the same phone as Vertu’s Signature Touch smartphone with few extra Bentley details added here and there. The device boasts Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 801 SoC, 4.7-inch full HD sapphire glass display, 64GB of built-in memory, 4G LTE connectivity, stereo speakers, Qi wireless charging and 13MP camera with dual-LED flash.

Android 4.4 KitKat is running the show with Vertu’s own UI singing on top to allow quick access to the Vertu concierge services. Bentley-branded content comes preloaded, as well.

The Vertu for Bentley comes adorned in quilted calf leather with diamond pattern and Bentley’s classic Newmarket Tan color shade, making it perfectly fit with Bentley car’s interior.

So, any takers? 🙂
