Rogers HSPA+ Rocket Stick Now Available in Canada

rogers-hspa-rocket-stickIf you’re a Canadian mobile professional looking to get the most out of your day, without being restricted to the limitations of your mobile device… Rogers has launched their new HSPA+ Rocket Stick, bringing speeds of up to 21Mbps to your laptop computer. Pop in the rocket stick, and get down to work, no matter where you happen to be (well, ok, as long as there is network coverage!).

In order to pick one up, you’ll need to drop $74.99 and sign a 2-year contract (minimum data plan of $25/mth). To go without contract, the stick will cost you $199.99.

Before you get too excited, you may want to make sure Rogers has HSPA+ available in your area. A little while ago Rogers had announced that their new HSPA+ network was available in major Canadian centers such as Calgary, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Vancouver… So, if you aren’t in any of these areas you will default back to Rogers’ current network. No details on Rogers HSPA+ network expansion as of yet, but with the new HSPA+ Rocket Stick readily available, I suspect Rogers is working hard on it.

More details available at Rogers.com.
