Transformers go mobile

Transformers go mobileI can’t wait for the Transformers movie. Yeah, I know it will probably be a piece of crap, but I’m so nostalgic about it. It was one of my favorite cartoons when I was a kid. Plus, the special effects look promising…

Now, the mobile content developer Glu Mobile announced the release of the related mobile content — wallpapers, ringtones, animations, and of course a mobile game. Naturally, I’ll rant a bit more about the game, as you can imagine the rest for yourself.

The game follows the movie action, meaning that you’re looking for Allspark, a source of energy hidden on Earth. The difference is that you only control a single Autobot, the almighty Optimus Prime. Across 20 different levels, you’ll be able to fulfill your childhood’s dreams — to shoot all Decepticons that cross your way. Of course, you can transform whenever you want, and play either as a robot or as a heavy truck.

Glu also announced that all Transformers content will be available through more than 150 carriers and distribution partners in 65 countries around the world. There you have it — you’ll spot it like it or not. And I hope you like it. 🙂
