Symbian Ltd. announced that Symbian OSâ„¢, is used in the NTT DoCoMo’s 3 new smartphones – FOMAâ„¢ D702i, FOMAâ„¢ NM850iG and FOMAâ„¢ SO902i.

The FOMAâ„¢ D702i is manufactured by Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, FOMAâ„¢ NM850iG by Nokia Corporation, and FOMAâ„¢ SO902i by Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications Japan.

This increases the total number of Symbian OS-based mobile phones shipped in Japan to 27.
