Palm has released its web-based Ares SDK to the group of select developers. The “fairly advanced alpha” version should allow interested companies and individuals to create their apps without installing any software on their computers. Unfortunately, the program is already full, and until Palm opens it again, we (I) won’t be able to try it out. Except in case they answer to the plead written all over this post. 😉
Just kidding, I have no webOS device, though I’m looking forward to try it out at the upcoming Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain.
Palm finished its post in developer forums with promise to accept more developers in the future, as soon as Ares graduates to beta, I guess.
