Cash Cab for iPhone – Because we can’t all live in NYC

cash-cab-iphone-1If you’re like me, you’re addicted to the Discovery Channel. Also, you don’t live in New York City (Manhattan). That’s a shame because neither of us will probably ever have a chance to take a ride on the Cash Cab and become the next contestant in the taxi-based quiz show. Thankfully, Capcom has just released the next best thing – the Cash Cab iPhone game!

You might not get to take a ride in a taxi outfitted with flashing lights and game show sounds, nor will you have the pleasure of meeting the multi-tasking cab driving TV show host, but you will get to spend hours of your life proving to yourself that you’re smarter than the average New Yorker.

Just like the Cash Cab game show on the Discovery Channel, the Cash Cab iPhone game takes you on a (virtual) journey through the streets of New York City. During the trip, you’ll be presented with trivia questions that span the gamut of popular culture. Along the way, you’ll get to try your hand at Red Light Challenges and Video Bonuses. Unlike the TV show, though, you get multiple choices for your answer.

Test your brainpower, but be careful. Miss three questions and you get your virtual butt booted onto the virtual street! At least you don’t have to wear your winter coat.
