Mobile Marketing Association

The Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) announced its top 10 industry predictions for mobile marketing in North America for the coming year. Without further ado, here are the trends that will mark the following year, according to MMA:

10. Mobile health app and services
9. Augmented reality stuff
8. Mobile TV
7. Solutions that disable handset features when driving
6. Increased adoption of mobile barcodes and coupons
5. Aggregation services in the areas of location, customer service and mobile commerce
4. Free, ad-supported turn-by-turn navigation
3. Mobile video conferencing
2. Better measurement of mobile marketing campaigns
1. Smell recognition
