Samsung is demonstrating the first LTE (Long Term Evolution) netbook at the Mobile World Congress – N150, which comes with Samsung’s own in-house designed LTE modem chipset, Kalmia.
In addition to an LTE modem, the N150’s specs include Atom N450 CPU running at 1.66 GHz, 1 GB RAM, 10.1-inch WSVGA screen, 160 or 250 GB hard drive, WiFi connectivity, Bluetooth 2.1, whereas Windows 7 or XP Home is running the show. In terms of availability, the Samsung N150 is currently available in market with HSPA 3G communications, and the inclusion of LTE will follow rollouts of compatible networks.
During the show, the Korean company will use the N150 to demonstrate LTE-based live video streaming. Additionally, Samsung is also showcasing rest of the netbook line-up — including N210, N220 and NB30.
