Nexage, which is the “mobile advertising yield optimization and mediation solutions provider,” released the new Nexage Android SDK and an open API, enabling developers to create Android-based apps capable of serving mobile ads through Nexage’s mobile mediation platform – AdMax.
The new SDK supports multiple ad formats, including local advertising (for location based services), expandables, native video player, and more. AdMax Gateway on its end queries more than 35 mobile ad networks to deliver the most inventory fill at the highest effective CPM.
In addition to supporting the Android platform, Nexage has also opened APIs so that developers could implement custom ad treatments across platforms. Additional information about the SDK and APIs are available from developer’s “corner” on Nexage’s website.
As a reminder, AdMob-owned AdWhirl — which also offers the ad mediation service — has recently released its Android SDK to support a growing number of developers who make apps for Google’s mobile platform.
