Can you feel the breeze? I can, and it’s not what you think. TELUS has designs on bringing the LG Breeze to market, as it was spied in some recent promotional material. Tagged as ‘coming soon’ for now, I’d expect to feel the ‘Breeze’ sometime this month or next.
Also known as the LG GW520, the Breeze packs a 2.8″ display (240×400), a full slider QWERTY, 3MP camera with video, and is expandable to 16GB via microSD. Sadly, there is no touchscreen on the Breeze, so I’d expect this full-QWERTY slider to cost somewhere between FREE to $49.99 on a 3-year contract.
Hopping into the WABAC Machine to see if the ‘Breeze’ appeared anywhere else, I noticed that LG launched the GW520 as the ‘Calisto’ way back in June of 2009. Me thinks the Breeze will become available at quite the reasonable price point.
