The Motorola i1 may be the slickest, most feature-packed iDEN handset to be released on Sprint Nextel’s PTT-savvy network, but who’s going to use the military-tough Android phone? Well, Dirty Jobs’ Mike Rowe took a minute to talk to us about why Sprint Nextel’s first Android smartphone is the perfect fit for his harsh needs.

And, seeing as how Mike gets himself into situations that really test the limits of most other mobile phones’ survivability, the Motorola i1’s resistance to dust, shock/vibration, and water make it an obvious choice for Mr. Dirty Jobs himself. In fact, the i1 meets the 810F military specifications for rugged design, so you know Moto’s Android-powered iDEN handset is going to take a lickin’ and keep on tickin’!
