Mobile phone recycler ReCellular is launching what they say are comprehensive trade-in programs for both consumers and phone retailers.

Consumers can hop over to SecureTradeIn.com and follow instructions provided. ReCellular promises guaranteed data protection, ease of use and its support. Since its soft launch in early 2010, the service has been used by thousands of people.

For retailers and carriers, the company has prepared the Point of Sale solution, which can be customized to match retailer’s / carrier’s brand. High volume is no problem and there’s also the “pay what we say” policy that keeps the process hassle free for all parties involved.

Commenting on the announcement and especially emphasizing the retail solution, ReCellular’s CEO, Steve Manning, said: “ReCellular knows that time and training are precious commodities in a retail environment. For a trade-in solution to work, it has to be simple and easy. That is why we have made our point of sale solution so store-friendly. Retailers love this tool.”

For the record, ReCellular processes more than 5 million phones a year.
