A company called Digital Group Audio (DGA) has announced that its Livespeakr compact speaker is the “first and only portable speaker system to prove compatible with the Google Nexus One, Palm Pre, Palm Pre Plus and Motorola DROID smartphones.”
Now wait a moment? I’m not sure what this means? It comes with a 3.5mm audio jack or what? Virtually every speaker on the market works with the phones mentioned above. But there’s the catch, as you’re about to find out.
Livespeakr features a cradle that rotates the phones mentioned above plus an iPhone or iPod Touch into both portrait and landscape modes, making it ideal for listening to music, utilizing internet radio applications, watching YouTube videos, checking email, surfing the web, and so on.
So it’s a speaker-equipped stand, actually. That makes sense.
And since it can rotate the devices mentioned, it can also be used for playing motion-based games such as racing games.
Finally, in terms of the battery capacity, Livespeakr offers more than 16 hours of non-stop entertainment.
