Nordic Wireless Watch has an interesting article with some mobile phone usage research numbers in the land of Nokia. The main point is – Finns are using their mobile phones more diversely.
Some highlights:
- 25% of those surveyed said they have browsed web pages from their mobile phone
- MMS message use grew from 29% to 41%
- 31% (up from last year’s 26%) of the respondents said they had used their phones in response to a TV or radio ad or program
- last year almost 50% of Finns received some marketing through their mobile phones
