
Apptizr, the service that provides iPhone users with personalized app recommendations and which we covered in the past, announced that it has crossed the 10 million apps recommended mark. That’s a big new for the company/service, which started working only four months ago and was instantly called the “Pandora for iPhone apps.”
As part of its “10 millions recommendations served” press release, they also shared some insights on what people like.
Not surprisingly, Games and Entertainment — two of the most crowded and competitive categories — are most popular among the users. Similarly, Productivity and Utilities are high on the user demand list, while apps in Books and Education do not result in as many downloads or purchases, despite the fact that the category is over-crowded.
