T-Mobile MyTouch3G Slide available now on eBay

If you just can’t wait for T-Mobile’s next Android device, the MyTouch3G Slide, you may want to go have a look on eBay today. The MyTouch Slide has been spotted for sale on eBay today, but if you want it soon, you’ll have to pay for it. Say, almost twice the amount the phone is actually worth. Still want it?

While this is going to be T-Mobile’s best Android device they have ever offered, it’s certainly not a device you’re going to be switching carriers for. No way. As with many of the carrier’s Android devices, they are just nice enough to get you through a contract. But, on the flip-side of the coin, you won’t have too much iPhone or Droid Incredible envy. The MyTouch Slide has a customized version of HTC’s Sense, a bigger screen than any of T-Mobile’s previous Android devices at 3.4-inches, better processor, and a very usable full QWERTY keyboard that I’d really like to get some personal hands-on time with. A couple of our IntoMobile editors had a chance to put their hands on the Slide for a bit, and were overall impressed.

Now if you think that you just needs this phone, you can visit this link. The starting bid for the device is $500, but if you just have to have it now, you can pay an easy $750 to seal the deal and make it yours. The person selling the device must realized that no one wants the phone that much, and have lowered the starting bid from $750. The buy it now price was previously $1200, as shown in the picture. But, if you’re going pay that much money for a phone, just go get the Droid Incredible, and pay your bill for a couple years with the $1200 you’ll save.

It may seem cool that the device is out before it’s released – and it really is, in a geeky, first-adopter sort of way – but there is just one problem. The phone is not worth it – despite what the seller says. It is not the ” BEST ANDROID DEVICE THAT HAS EVER LAUNCHED.” Lie.

There are too many devices that are available today that still have more worth than T-Mobile’s upcoming device. At best, this device costs around $500, tops. I’m not saying don’t get this phone if you want it that badly. (Actually I am saying that too, you could be buying stolen property, and you know what happens when you buy stolen property…) I’m just saying it would be much better if you just wait it out, get on the T-Mobile Even More Plus plan, and pay $20 dollars a month for it. That’s all.
