When it comes to racing games, nothing beats a good kart racer. You can have your Need for Speeds and your Gran Turismos, but there’s nothing quite like throwing a banana peel to cause your opponent to slip off the track or driving over boost pads to advantageously speed past your opponent to beat them at the last second. That’s why today’s announcement from Activision has gotten me excited as Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 2 has made its way to the iPhone.
Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 2 is a sequel to Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 3D and offers an all new adventure and multiplayer modes. Players will be able to race as Crash himself or one of nine other playable characters on 12 unique tracks. As is customary of most kart racers, you can expect a plethora of power-ups as well as weapons at your disposal to take your opponents down. Best of all, multiplayer mode allows for up to four players to play together over a Wi-Fi connection in three different modes.
