As a Platinum Partner, Microvision is extending its Flic Cordless Laser Bar Code Scanner product to the Symbian ecosystem, to promote the development of feature-rich commercial bar code reading applications for Symbian OS.
What this could mean is this: Imagine you enter the store and find something you like. Take a photo of the product’s barcode and press some button on your smartphone.
