Thanks to the Google (NSDQ: GOOG)’s recently revealed Co-Op service, All About Symbian guys launched a custom search engine for Symbian related sites. The new Symbian Search includes many of the largest Symbian sites, and is the easiest way to get the information related to the Symbian ecosystem. It’s already in my bookmark and I suggest you to use it too.
UPDATE: Nokia (NYSE: NOK) E61/E62 fans will also be pleased to know that there is a custom Nokia E61 Blog info Search.

It seems that Nokia (NYSE: NOK) has found a partner for spreading some Symbian love across the Ocean. Yap, it’s Cingular with whom Nokia already launched E62 last month.
This time the name of the game is Nokia’s clamshell N75, recently presented “smallest Nseries multimedia computer”, specially designed for the U.S. market.
If everything comes right, Cingular will soon have a nice Symbian OS powered phone to offer sporting Symbian V9 with S60 3rd edition user interface, 2 MP camera, audio player, mobile web browsing and all other features of Symbian-based devices.
One wonders, what is the next smartphone to be offered via Cingular. Nokia already has the E70-2 prepared.

According to the T3 magazine, Nokia (NYSE: NOK) is preparing another Internet tablet — smaller than 770, yet more entertainment oriented. Apparently, the Nokia 330 will sport a built-in GPS, already seen in the Nokia N95, web and email access. The device should also play movies, various audio files (including MP3), as well as display photos on its 3.5″ (touch)screen.

I guess that Nokia will use its Maemo linux platform, but who knows… Symbian’s representatives also announced that they may go into other areas beyond mobile phones. We’ll see. Still, if the photos are accurate (they are “semi-official”), Nokia prepares a great little device which I can’t wait to use.

With the number of available Nokia N73 faceplate covers, you may want to replace your default cover with a new one. At first, it could seem complicated, given the fact that N73 is a pretty solid phone. However, it isn’t. All you need are two credit cards and a T6 screwdriver…

Mark Guim from The Nokia (NYSE: NOK) Blog prepared a nice how-to with all the photos explaining how to spice-up the look of your N73. Nice!

Yes, we’ve heard it all before. But this time it’s coming from the Skype’s head of mobile development, Eric Lagier, who said: “Hopefully before Christmas we can satisfy a lot of questions about where Skype is on mobile phones”.
Major reasons for Skype’s delay include complicated development and problems with pricing when Skype is used over 3G networks. Also, carriers are not that happy to see Skype being used on their network.
PC World has an article.

Today,
Nokia announced the certification and availability of several Oracle mobile enterprise applications on the Nokia (NYSE: NOK) E61 and Nokia E62 devices. Have you seen the theme of the Nokia (NYSE: NOK)’s recently announced N70, N73 and N91 8GB special music edition phones? It’s green, smooth and way cool. Now, your phone can look like that.
Thanks to the e61life blog, we have this theme. Hint: We’re not 100% sure that this is the exact theme used on the mentioned devices, but it certainly looks alike.
Anyway, the theme is free, it works on S60 3rd edition devices, and you can get it from here. Enjoy!
