Wow, this is a great feature of Flickr I recall asking for awhile back
- find a camera. You can see which cameras are used the most by Flickr
members, as well as what camera phones are also used the most, great
way to see the photos you can expect from a camera with real world use.

I wonder what the stats are for photobucket which has a larger portion of the younger crowd. Phil has a fantastic point, if I’m in the market for a camera I can gauge the quality of pictures made by real people, not professional photographers. Don’t get me wrong, I love reading reviews on dpreview.com, they are experts of the highest caliber, but I’m more of a realist. I just use the auto and video mode of my Canon Powershot A510. While I could go in and explore its advanced features I frankly don’t care enough to do so. Some people however do, and this new feature has a secondary use: people who love the Nokia N93 for example can find and connect with each other to share tips and tricks for achieving the best possible shots. That’s where the power of Flickr is, community.

Now I want to know why that is, can you provide a little more meat in your comments then observational algebra?

What makes Sony phones the top camera phones? Is it the quality, the UI, the brand name? We all have to [at least the people who like Nokia] think together on this one.
