Nokia E62/E61: Nokia is just starting to explore the enterprise market with their business smartphones and one of the first to hit wireless carriers in the U.S. is the Nokia E62 from Cingular. I have been using the Nokia E61, same as the E62 but with WiFi, and find the device to have more features than a Windows Mobile Smartphone, but a bit less than a Phone Edition. The device is a steal at only US$99.99 after rebate from Cingular and if you are looking for a rock solid smartphone then take a look at this unit. It is a bit wide for a phone, but the keyboard is a joy to type on and if texting is more important then this device deserves consideration.

Matthew posted a Black Friday sales guide, and I just happened to notice that he uses the same phone I do. This guy has played with and reviewed more phones than you and I can count. What does he use in day to day life? A Nokia E61. Now I’ve known about this for a while now, but didn’t want to blog old news, nor incorrect news since I didn’t know which mobile he uses on a daily basis. This article just reinforces all the previous things he has said about the E61; again blogs like his are what made me confident in the purchase of my E61. Did I mention how much I love my E61?

For people who don’t know what Black Friday is: in America after Thanksgiving all the major retail stores usually have HUGE sales. I mean massive price cuts. Black Friday marks the start of the holiday shopping season.
