The Nokia N73 will attract anyone who wants a powerful smartphone/camera phone that doesn’t look too flashy or high-tech. Its large screen and 3-megapixel camera are among the best we have seen in camera phones so far.
A less exciting new feature in the Nokia N73 is a blinking blue light that begins to flash when you haven’t used your phone for a few minutes. If you are using your phone as an alarm clock, the blue light in a dark room flashes like a police light on the roof of a patrol car. We couldn’t figure out a sensible reason why we should have the light on. Its task is to let you know that the device is in Sleep mode. You can (and you will, after your first night together with your new companion) disable it by following this sequence: go to the Main Menu, Tools, Settings, Phone, Display, Sleep Mode. Set the value of Sleep Mode to Off.

This is yet another review I’ve seen pop up on the net recently. This thing must be gaining popularity very fast, if it only wasn’t so expensive! However I always tell myself: todays high tech is bargain binned in less than half a decade.
