Seriously folks, I keep my BT on only when I need to connect my E61 to my laptop. Not only does keeping it off make you safer, it increases battery life.

Then again my E61 won’t let me connect to strangers unless I enter in a pass code, gotta love Symbian!

what if you have your phone hidden from the public?

  • Ricky Cadden

I leave mine on fully discoverable most of the time, or if I think about it, hidden but always on

battery life is my number one priority

Ah, I knew my N770 was good for something really useful! Off to the malls! See in in the Caribbean.. lol.. Also loved the fact that the hacked phones were SE and Moto.. ;) Is there any difference between brands (probably not?) or this is a generic bluetooth problem?

  • Stefan Constantinescu

I think it’s the OS implementation not a bluetooth issue

  • pancake

They’r all mobiles OS implementation bugs.

This is very sensacionalist video that make people scare with concrete cases showing them like if they were common problems on the underlying bluetooth protocol.

Bluetooth is a great technology, test your own device, know your bugs and play with them. This is better way to be secure.
