Sony Ericsson W660Yet another mid-range Walkman-branded device has been announced by Sony Ericsson. In terms of distinctiveness, Sony Ericsson emphasizes the style and feel of the new device that “just begs to be touched.”.

The W660 is a classic-design 3G phone available in two colors – Record Black and Rose Red. Music lovers can count on the 512MB Memory Stick Micro (M2) supplied, that according to the specs, could hold up to 470 full-length songs in eAAC+ format.

Similarly to several of the latest Sony Ericsson Walkman phones, the W660 also features TrackID, a neat feature that allows quick identification of the track, artist and/or album. The new device can also read RSS feeds, access web pages using the built-in full HTML web browser, and gives users a Photo blogging option directly from the phone.

Finally – the specs and the availability. The Sony Ericsson W660 sports a 2 MP camera, an FM radio, and a Bluetooth connectivity support. It has dimensions of 102x46x14.5 mm and weighs 93g, and will be available in selected markets from Q2 2007.
