In Blog Updates
You’re going to start seeing a list of links piling up in the right hand side bar under the Flickr photos.
I made a promise to you guys that I would have a blog roll up by the end of the month and with less than 120 minutes left in April I want to make sure I keep my word.
The one simple goal I had set for myself today, shaving my head, didn’t get accomplished. I seriously need to loose this layer of insulation that is over heating my brain.
Update: Done! I have a total of 153 RSS feeds, but I only shared the 82 that I think I should share with you guys.

Well, it’s not solid gold, but the Jabra JX10 Bluetooth headset is plated in real gold. When plain ole’ bejewelled headsets just don’t cut it, go with a gold JX10, from the mind of former Bang & Olufsen designer, Jacob Jensen. The 24-carat gold headset can be used with or without the ear hook, and looks stunning either way – for £150.
For the fashionistas that are worried about matching a cell phone with a gold headset, go grab the gold Moto KRZR. You’ll have to figure out where to get some gold shoes, on your own.

When we think “slider”, we think of up-and-down action a la Moto RIZR or LG Chocolate. This new concept redefines what a “slider” form-factor means. Rather than slide vertically, the concept phone spins around to reveal the keys. It’s actually pretty cool looking, and just goes to show you what a new take, on a simple idea, can do.

In Ideas and rants
I’m not going installing the PC suite.
I’m enjoying a fresh Windows install too much to want to damage it by installing that piece of software that even most Nokian’s dislike.
I have images on my device I want to send to my computer without having to plug in my POP port to USB cable and selecting "Mass Storage Mode," is it possible?
Thanks!
Update: Got it working. I just had to right click the Bluetooth icon in my task bar and click "receive file." Didn’t know it was that easy. Thank you Google (NSDQ: GOOG) for pointing me to this thread over at Treo Central.

In Devices, GPhone, Rumors
Some rumors just don’t die easily. Lately, The New York Times added some fuel to the fire, with its mobile search-focused article titled “Big Money in Little Screens“, suggesting Google (NSDQ: GOOG) DOES work on its mobile phone.
Apparently, “Google has gone so far as to build a prototype phone with its own software inside, according to one person who has seen it”. Furthermore, the article goes on to say that, “Despite the prototype and the persistent rumors that a Google phone is imminent, few in the industry expect the company to go into the business of selling phones. Analysts are speculating that the company plans to persuade hardware manufacturers to build phones based on its software that may initially be aimed at overseas markets.”
Now wait a minute. We’ve already seen some patents suggesting that Google wants to enable search without a browser. Hack, we’ve even seen some concepts, as well as the rumor that HTC will manufacture the upcoming GPhone. However, we’ve also seen Google phone rumor killed, leaving us wondering does or doesn’t Google prepares its phone. What do you say?

In Accessories, Devices, Sony Ericsson
Spiderman 3 is about to hit the cinemas around the world, and it’s no wonder the first spider-branded cell phone accessories started appearing. Recently, we’ve spotted accessories for Sony Ericsson (NYSE: SNE) K800i — that’s Swedish-Japanese Cybershot branded handset with 3.2 MP camera and a Xenon flash. Accessories, at the moment available in some countries in Asia, include Spiderman 3 protective cases, phone skins and cool straps with a little spider that will light up when there is an incoming call. Wondering how long will it take to see these available in Western Countries…?

In Research
Mobile phone users in the United Kingdom love the music phones. Furthermore, they love to have a stylish handset (who doesn’t), and are not “afraid” to pay for it — even if it requires signing for a long-term contract, or pouring out the good ol’ cash.
That’s at least what the latest mobile phone sale figures are suggesting. Here are the top 10 sellers in the UK: Read the full article »

Today we’re bringing you another concept device. Called Me-Mo, this concept consists of the master unit and additional “parts.” Mentioned master unit is actually a screen, which can be “upgraded” with additional elements like numeric or QWERTY keyboard, MP3 player and GPS navigation module. All the user needs to do is snap these onto the back of the master unit with jacket buttons and they’re ready to go. But things don’t end there — extra buttons can be placed on other places such as clothing, furniture, etc. to connect additional Me-Mo elements. Sounds quite personalized, doesn’t it? In AT&T, Apple, Devices, iPhone, iPhone OS
Good ol’ Engadget has come in possession of an internal Cingular/AT&T (NYSE: T) document that gives the carrier’s employees basic information about the upcoming iPhone.
Among the things that caught our eyes:
- Future iPhone users will be able to access Cingular’s MyAccount directly from the handset and/or via iTunes
- There will probably be the iPhone-specific service plans
- No subsidies will be offered on launch
- Out of contract customers will be able to sign up for two more years to get an iPhone
- Pre-orders are still NOT available
Full document is available from here.
