The Ring Nokia One Week Experiment: Premature death

I’ve been staring at a blank page in Microsoft Word 2007 for 45 minutes, took a shower and an Advil. I still can’t figure out how to make todays news flow.

I could just link to everything and line up some witty transitions between articles, but then I would be nothing but a newsletter. I hate newsletters.

One of my favorite blogs is Scripting News. Dave Winer is the guy who invented RSS, the black tar heroin equivalent for information junkies. I love the way his blog is formated and that’s what I’m going to try and mimic today by playing with my theme settings.

Forget about the new style. I honestly don’t know what I was thinking.

Man that was such a stupid idea. Tommi was right.

    I think you have been too stressful, and trying too hard to be different. I would suggest you feed the news as normal and add in a slight personal touch at the end. Just my 2 cents worth

    I concur with Anndy on this one. Your style is great the way it is. I’m still amazed at how much effort you put into gathering so much relevant Nokia news into your posts. And with just enough of your own “flavor” to make me come back for more. :)

    Sigh… It seems like you don’t really care about my comments to visit a website… Perhaps I should send you an email with all the links for the good articles on the blog… or perhaps I’ll just sit down and see what you come up with be yourself… Really, Word 2007 as a blogging tool isn’t such a great idea and it seems like you could learn a lot more about feed engines and stuff the website provides… It also provides many ways to visually customize the blog.

    Oh well…

    I don’t like the new style, SHORT, many individual posts, etc. Scare people away due to the number of posts, but leaving people who want to read unsatisfied with the lack of quality in each post. Switch to something else or go back to the old way…
