Huawei C5320, Sony Ericsson Walkman rip-off, approved by the FCC

Huawei C5320So far we haven’t seen some clone-phone getting the FCC’s approval. I guess the companies which brands were ripped-off stopped this from happening, by suing the appropriate (Chinese) company, responsible for the copyright infringement.

Now, we have the Huawei C5320, a CDMA handset, approved for the U.S. The device in many ways resembles some of the Sony Ericsson’s low to mid range Walkman-branded handsets, and in that sense it’s strange watching Japanese-Swedish company allowing this to happen.

If everything goes right for the Chinese company, we’ll see this candybar phone hitting the market. And yes, I think it will cost next to nothing.

Yes, i think this is a rip off, i’ve seen serval mobiles from this company and not one is a good phone, maybe Sony Ericsson didn’t care because it’s a cdma headset and they don’t make phones for this technology

A comment to the post of Roger Rodriguez, I have a cellular business selling cdma handsets and I have sold several thousands of huawei handsets and I have to say that they have one of the lowest rma of any brand. Also they havent had a lemon model so far, which cannot be said of any other of the big brandnames. Granted they have been all low market phones, so we will wait and see what happens with this feature packed model.
