We’ve missed this one. But here it is a few days later nevertheless.

Verizon Wireless and Samsung recently announced the Samsung SCH-u620, the first mobile phone to support carrier’s new V CAST Mobile TV service.

Samsung SCH-u620

Among other things, the SCH-u620 packs a 2″ QVGA screen, a 1.3 MP camera, and microSD memory card slot in a slider form factor. Furthermore, the device boasts a dedicated V CAST Mobile TV key, a retractable antenna, and can view DOC, XLS, PPT, PDF, TXT, HTM, and image files.

The Samsung SCH-u620 is available in select Verizon stores for $149.99 after $50 mail-in rebate and a new two-year customer agreement. Not much for one of the first mobile TV devices in the country. (via: SlashPhone)
