LG KU580 – Some fat Chocolate coming to Vodafone

May 2, 2007 by Dusan Belic - Leave a Comment

LG KU580 looks like the Chocolate’s successor, yet unlike the current trends, it’s thicker and wider. Similarly to the previous model, it also has heat sensor buttons below the LCD screen, along with the Vodafone logo (at least on the photos we have).

T-Mobile USA to carry Nokia N95?

May 2, 2007 by Dusan Belic - 6 Comments

File this under “let’s just hope it will happen.” Engadget writes that T-Mobile USA will get the Nokia’s flagship N95. The carrier’s UK division is already offering the best imaging device, and in that sense I don’t see why it wouldn’t “transfer” it overseas. Sounds like a plan, if you ask me. It is time…

May 2, 2007 by Dusan Belic - Leave a Comment

iPhone is coming next month in the U.S. and by the start of 2008 in Europe, and we have yet another market prediction will it or will it not succeed in the marketplace. Markitecture surveyed 1,300 people who both owned their own cell phone and were responsible for the monthly payments. Of that number, 77%…

DoCoMo predicts the future; Preps to push video telephony, holograms

May 2, 2007 by Dusan Belic - 1 Comment

What we have here are two videos of NTT DoCoMo predicting the future of the mobile telephony. As you can see for yourself, mobile video and hologram projections are the killer apps for the Japanese carrier. Still, these videos don’t actually reveal anything revolutionary — maybe DoCoMo wanted to show us what they are preparing…

How I currently feel about Nokia’s blogging situation: A simple replace command away

May 2, 2007 by Stefan Constantinescu - 2 Comments

This is the original post. I simply replaced every instance of the word Oracle with the word Nokia: I’ve been following the interesting debate about Nokia’s presence in the blogosphere that Justin kicked off with "I Don’t Get It" (helpfully summarized by Doug Burns). I think Scoble has the right idea (emphasis mine): Find the…

722 subscribers! I must have upset a lot of folks

May 2, 2007 by Stefan Constantinescu - 5 Comments

This is the first time in over a month I have less than 800 subscribers on feed burner. Did I do something wrong? Ever since I started "burning" my feed, it has been nice seeing how many people read Ring Nokia: Maybe it was my 7+ days of posting only once a week, I guess…

People are saying Silverlight is better than Apollo

May 2, 2007 by Stefan Constantinescu - Leave a Comment

Any real developers care to comment on this? I’m all for programming in .Net! It’s easier than … Visual Studio practically writes the damn thing for you. I really think the future will be built on these cross platform run times. It just makes too much sense not to have an application wherever you are…

Bad soundtrack and it is in Russian, but it gets the job done:

Video: Nokia 6110 Navigator is more than meets the eyes

May 2, 2007 by Stefan Constantinescu - 2 Comments

It would have been funnier if he shot a Sony Ericsson GPS device with his laser. Wait a minute … Sony Ericsson doesn’t sell a GPS device! I kid I kid, I’m actually contemplating getting rid of my E61 and getting the new K810i. I probably shouldn’t say this on my blog.
