This kicks Twitter in the balls and then makes love to its mother. Jonathan Greene takes a stab at reviewing the latest beta of the S60 Jaiku client and he does a great job, but if you’re going to watch the video you should definitely read his editorial about why the aggregation features make this microblogging platform the best one on the market.

It is a shame they didn’t create this application in Java. S60 is popular, but definitely not as widespread as J2ME phones.

Thanks for the post! You can do J2ME Jaiku with the Widset if you want and actually get a bit more functionality than in the S60 client – at least the current beta. I show that right at the end of the video…

    Stefan –

Thanks for the link and post!

You can do J2ME with the Widset which is shown at the end of the video… It actually does more than the current beta in terms of connecting with what’s on the Jaiku web site – Channels specifically.

yea but it is still apart of widsets. they need a dedicated app. i should have specified that.

  • Jonathan Greene

Thought my first one got bonked when my wifi dropped out … sorry for the double.

  • Jonathan Greene

I hear you on Widsets… though the Jaiku and Twitter ones actually make it worth something – and if it’s the only option, hard to knock it, though I’m sure you’ll find a good way!

i think this is not too hard to make it for J2ME.
