We knew the BlackBerry Pearl’s successor was on the way. We knew it would have some upgraded features. But, we didn’t know that it would be such an amazing piece of kit! Boy Genius tells us that the upcoming BlackBerry Pearl 2, codenamed the Komet, will sport some amazing features. Not only does the “Komet” feature stereo speakers, microSD card slot, or 3.5mm headphone jack (which aren’t features to laugh at) – RIM has gifted the Pearl 2 with a 3.2 megapixel camera! We’re used to having our expectations of high-megapixel cameras being let down, but we’re glad to report that the expected 2MP camera will actually be a 3.2MP shooter! No word on pricing or availability, but you will have your choice of metallic red, blue, gold, and black.

Check out the compete list of BlackBerry Pearl 2 (Komet) features after the link!
