Unlike the S60, UIQ devices are not that flexible in terms of customization. The Sony Ericsson M600i and W950i can be customized to some extent, but the once flagship P990i is almost completely dull to any tweaking. Now, IPmart-Forum‘s user “laren0” has found the solution to change most of the menu icons on P990i — excluding calendar, contacts, camera and time itp.
All you have to do is download the .rar file and copy all folders to “D:\resource”, using the memory card reader. Once you restart your P990i, you will see the new icons in the menu.
