FCC outs another Katana successor – Sanyo Katana DLX

It looks like our friends at the FCC have been getting some hands-on time with the second concurrent successor to the Sanyo Katana. The new Sanyo Katana DLX (deluxe?) handset will be running alongside the Sanyo Katana II with a similar (from what we can tell) design and shape. The Katana DLX clam-shell will sport Bluetooth, microSD slot, camera, EVDO data, and PC-modem functionality.

That’s really all we know for now, but just getting wind of a double-shot of Katana successors is enough for us. We’re expecting this thing to launch with the Katana II – which is to say, in a few months.
