  What’s the difference between an iPhone 3G and a regular iPhone?

  1. The design is different. 3G iPhones have black and white back, old ones have silver color.
  2. 3G is very fast internet which is close to the speed of wi-fi.
  3. 3G iPhone is newer version which is 2.0 right now with compared to old 1.14 firmware.
  4. Longer battery life.

  The iPhone 3G is utter crap. This report is being written on my 3G and it’s taken me half an hour just to load this page up.There is still no upgraded camera.They always freeze and cut out for about 10min at a time.After the first week of having my first 3G the silent button fell of.O2 gave me a new one and it’s freezing,cutting out,the maps never work,the 3G Internet is a wee little bit quicker but not “WOW LOOK HOW MUCH FASTER THIS IS”.No.The iPod just skips all the music.They take ages to load on iTunes.In the UK you can’t get ringones.I just can’t see why you can’t set a song from your library to a ringtone,oh no you have to make them yourself so apple loose money there.You can’t bluetooth numbers,songs,videos(camera isn’t even video),pictures,you can only Bluetooth the headsets witch are crap.The dictionary in the txts are so annoying.

  iPhone 3G-3/10. It’s just such a rubbish phone.

  i have an Iphone 16GB and having 2 different line.

  my provider supports multi line 1 sim, but will Iphone supports this feature??

  i hae a problem… i have the sim inserted properly in my iphone but it still doesnt recognise it …. as in… it says ‘NO SERVICE’…

  I received the iPhone as a gift from my hubby for Valentine’s Day. I have not been all that happy with it. It has frozen on me twice, which you have to hold down the silver button on top for what seems like forever for it to reboot itself. You can not receive nor send pictures as text messages, and you can’t take any videos. My husband is in the military and he likes to receive videos and pictures of our daughters when he is absent from home. I would not recommend this phone to anyone. It’s ridiculous to pay this much money for a phone that is so hyped up to be this great and wonderful new device and you can’t do the simplest things, like send pics or take video.

  I want to buy an Apple IPhone from your website of 99$. I am from India . Can I buy and use it like other mobile phones ,as in India it is sold by Airtel .Some services are also provided with this Iphone by Airtel in India. By buying Iphone from Airtel we have to pay a big cost. I just want to buy it ,put an ordinary Airtel Sim and use it as I don’t want to use 3G service or any other service provided by Airtel right now.

  I got an Iphone a couple months ago, and it worked perfect untill a couple days ago. Now it turns off on me every couple hours and it takes about an hour for me to try to get it back on. What should i do?

  How can I get rid of the email address history? Though I delete everything if I am typing in just the first letter of a past address it comes up automatically ….I want all history deleted

  hello guys,
  i recently recieved a used iphone from my girlfriend
  and im just using it as basically an ipod touch…

  today i somehow messed it up
  i had it plugged into my computer and was downloading some apps and unplugged it to see if it worked

  now it shows an ipod connecter cord pointing twards an ituned icon and says slide for emergency and i cant get it off this section and it wont let me use it….

  anybody know how to fix this???

  I have a problem, I plugged my iphone into my computer yesterday and cancelled the syncing so it didn’t put all the pictures from my computer to the iphone, I changed it so it would not sync the pictures anymore. I tried to plug my phone in today and it’s not recognizing my phone at all. But when i use the cord and plug the phone into the wall to charge it charges. What can i do to make i sync to my computer again????

  Help, when I receive or make a call on my iPhone, the face goes black. I cant end a call, by pushing the end call button; nor can I type in an extension (I hate automated messages, “press 1 for English, press 2 for …); nor can I surf the web while on a call as advertised. I thought it was a power save feature, but does not appear to be. What is wrong? How can I fix this?
