Exchange now works for Nokia’s Multimedia Computers AKA The N Series

mail00nseries.jpgThe thing I loved about Palm is no matter which Palm device I used: Palm, Handspring, Sony, the functionality out of the box was the exact same. Nokia on the other hand, not so much. S60 is so fragmented that the menu structures vastly differ depending on the model you buy and you might even have more or less features depending on which division within Nokia made the device.

The company restructuring that is about to occur in 2008 slaps everyone together in the same boat. The Multimedia guys will not compete with the Enterprise guys who will not compete with the Mobile Phones group. I think this is extremely refreshing, especially since I’ve stated countless times that S60 can learn a lot from S40.

All that angst aside now, Exchange users will be happy to find out that you can now use the service on your N series device.
