Just as we expected, the updated LG Chocolate VX8550 will hit Verizon shelves on July 9. The new Chocolate updates the VX8500 with a slightly smaller footprint, a touch-feedback, vibration-enabled keypad, and “Trace Motion.” The navigation wheel is supplemented with this “Trace Motion” lighting technology that is supposed to make navigating simpler and more fun.
As a Verizon offering, this new Chocolate will be fully compatible with V-CAST music. And, you can store all that music on the microSD card – up to 4GB cards can be used in the VX8550.
Look for the updated Chocolate in your local Verizon store next week – in our choice of “Blue Mint” or “Black Cherry.”
