It seems Palm is wrapping Foleo for the end of August. According to an anonymous source, Palm’s Linux-based “mobile companion” will start selling on August 22 through Palm’s website and its retail stores. Strange thing about this rumor is that other stores such as Best Buy will pick it up 3 months later — in November?

Anyway, if you’re into all the “mobile companion” idea, prepare to pour out $600 with $100 of that amount getting back to you as a rebate. Or, you could buy yourself a smaller laptop… :)
