Virtual BlackBerry coming to T-Mobile Dash?

Virtual BlackBerry coming to T-Mobile Dash?Earlier in April, we’ve talked about RIM’s plans to additionally support its Windows Mobile smartphone users with the release of BlackBerry application suite for the devices running Microsoft’s mobile OS. The idea is not to disrupt the way Windows Mobile devices are functioning, but to add the new BlackBerry icon from where users can access RIM’s popular services.

Now, it’s happening — or at least it’s about to happen. According to always highly informed Boy Genius, T-Mobile will be the first carrier that will roll-out its Dash (HTC S620) smartphone with preinstalled Virtual BlackBerry software. Current Dash users will almost certainly be able to add some RIM-based apps to their devices as well. And that’s basically it — we don’t have any more information. But, as far as I can tell – this isn’t far from happening. Stay tuned…
