With all the hype surrounding the Motorola-made Sidekick Slide (codenamed “Zante“), Sharp’s latest version of the Sidekick has been left out of the rumor-mill. Today, we welcome the Sharp Sidekick back inside. New details have emerged that Sharp’s newest Sidekick goes by the internal codename “Shuriken.”
According to Hiptop3.com, the Sharp “Shuriken” will become the Danger Sidekick 4 (the Motorola “Zante” pulling duty as the Sidekick Slide), with a 3-inch display, 1.3 megapixel camera, and microSD slot. Going by the leaked screencap above, we’re expecting a German release of the Sidekick 4 sometime in Q4 of this year (2007).
