It pains me to have to say “changelog leaked.”
Why can’t Nokia just be honest and admit that they shipped a phone that wasn’t perfect from the start, but they’re trying very hard to correct that. Nokia is one of the few companies who even do firmware upgrades! If you tell someone to update to the latest firmware or bios or version of software, they will always ask what is new? Did they fix anything?
A simple changelog like the one Symbian Freak just posted makes a world of a difference in communicating to users what exactly Nokia worked on and why you should update your device first thing after reading this article.
A few things to note:
- HSDPA indicator added (remember when I posted the screenshot that had 3.5G in the top left corner?)
- AGPS enabled (preview of the technology thanks to Symbian Guru)
- Problems with the WiFi connecting to Netgear routers now fixed
- Better memory handling in the music player application
- “Lots of improvements with maps.”
