Over 10 billion text messages were sent and received in June 2007, but that isn’t the impressive bit. What is shocking is that in September of 2006 the company broke the 5 billion per month figure in September of 2006. “Verizon Wireless” has officially been a company for 7 years according to Wikipedia. It took them 6 years to break the 5 billion text messages a month figure and only 10 months to double that.

Can you say growth?
