Samsung E950, one of the announced touchy-treo with Touch Sensitive Keypad, starts shipping in Europe this week, while the U.S. shipments are scheduled to start somewhere in the fall of this year.

As a reminder, the E950 is a slim slider phone boasting such features as 3.2 MP camera and a media player. However, the main selling point of this device will certainly be the mentioned touch sensitive keypad, which unlike in previous models comes with a dose of interactivity. For instance, when you use this phone in a music mode – you’ll see only media player control buttons like pause, play, fast forward, etc; while in the camera mode the zoom controls and other camera functions will be available. I like the idea — something 37signals’ Jason Fried calls “context over consistency.”
