ClearSMS web-based bulk SMS text messaging

It can really be a pain inviting our huge group of friends to our awesome tea-parties. All those individual calls, email, or phone calls can get to be a bit trying. And, if your group of friends is bigger than ours (yea, like anyone could have more than 4 friends) then we’re sure you know what we’re talking about.

To make getting the word out a bit less annoying and time-consuming, ClearSMS is offering a web-based SMS text service. No mobile phones required. Just log into the ClearSMS website, register, and start your mass-SMS’ing. You’ll get a free trial run, but after that you’ll need to buy credit (cost depends on country – 1 US credit costs $1, but 1 UK credit costs $1.77).

ClearSMS lists the following uses for their bulk-SMS service:

Car service shops send out reminders for a scheduled service.  Veterinarians send reminders for a pet’s next appointment.  Clubs and spa’s send invitations for an exciting event.  Schools send out advisories to faculty and parents for school closure during a winter storm.  Retail stores notify customers of a special holiday season sale.

Or, go out and plan that super-fantastic tea party you’ve always dreamed of throwing! Seriously, tea parties are cool, just ask our mothers.
