Adding to Verizon’s already busy product roadmap for August, it looks like @LINK1@ has yet another dandy handset waiting in the wings. The @LINK2@ will be hitting the CDMA network as the EVDO (Rev. A)-equipped UTStarcom XV5800.

If you’ll recall, the HTC Libra (aka S720) @LINK3@ as the CDMA flavor of the @LINK4@ aka HTC S710. The high-speed EVDO Rev. A connection should complement the 400Mhz-powered Windows Mobile 6.0 handset very well – not to mention that trick keypad/keyboard combo this thing’s got going for it.

HTC Libra goes to Verizon as UTstarcom XV5800 UTS Vox S720

The Verizon UTStarcom XV5800 should be dropping anytime now – we’re looking at a mid-August release. Stay tuned, we’ll keep you updated!
