BlackBerry Pearl with MLB logoUntil RIM released Pearl and then Curve afterwards, I’ve envisioned BlackBerry owners using their handsets almost exclusively for business purposes. However, after the introduction of more beautiful devices I found BlackBerrys a valid all-day multi-purpose devices, competing head-to-head with other mobile platforms — truth to be said, I remain Symbian OS fan.

The Major League Baseball (MLB) must be thinking between the same lines, and now they’re working with RIM to provide users with one-click access to MLB.com. The process should work like a charm — all you have to do is click on the “Put this icon on your BlackBerry home screen” link, although I haven’t noticed it on the MLB’s homepage. Guess MLB knows who the true addicts are… :)
