Foxy Brown arrested for assualt with BlackBerry

Damnit. What it is with celebrities that make them think it’s ok to attack people with their mobile phones? If anything they should use their fists and elbows, that way they wouldn’t be charged with assault with a weapon.

Foxy Brown is the latest celebrity to basically lose their mind and go ape-shit on someone close to them (both in proximity and relation) with mobile phone fury. She allegedly attacked her neighbor with her BlackBerry cell phone. The 27 year-old rapper is already on probation for her 2004 attack of two nail salon manicurists, and now she’ll be facing charges of assault and possession of a weapon (her BlackBerry). See if she had just thrown some ‘bows, she would have just gotten slapped with plain assault (we like our assault charges plain, like our ice cream).

An altercation between Brown and Prospect Heights neighbor Arlene Raymond, 25 years old, started when the Foxy rapper started blasting her car stereo on July 30. She was arrested Tuesday on charges of felony  assault, misdemeanor assault and criminal possession of a weapon. The rapper was released on $50,000 bail, and for what it’s worth, her manager, Chaz Williams, says the allegations are false.

Apparently, this crazy rapper has pretty good legal counsel in Senator John Sampson. So, we’ll see how the case goes.
