dotMobi keeps pushing its story forward. Just today, they’ve launched an upgraded version of its mobile website testing tool ready.mobi. The version 2.0 builds on top of the existing functionality and adds many requested features – including new mobile phone emulators, more reports with easy-to-evaluate (color-coded) scores, as well as “in-depth analysis of more than 35 attributes to determine how well a site is likely to perform on mobile phones.” In addition, dotMobi Developer Forum members can additionally tweak ready.mobi test preferences and compare the existing results with the previous ones.
There you have it. Now you can get even better test results for you mobile-optimized web pages. I remain in the opposition of the dotMobi, though.
