
Yeah, the music industry is dying transforming. With CD business slowly losing its edge, more often than not people get their music using some of the popular download services. Hence, in an effort to revive the “good ol’ ways”, the two of the major label titans have decided to come out with the Ringle, a $6 CD single featuring a remix and a ringtone. The RIAA wants to push this industry-wide, but at the moment only two suckers are on board – Universal and Sony BMG.
No, this won’t save the CD. Steadily, we’re all getting used to grab our ringtones over the air. Kill the DRM, and let the music flow. Change or die…
